Narasoma

€240.00

This puppet is antique and was actually used for several years in Javanese Shadow Theatre.
Nara means person, Soma means moon, a person who is good-looking as moon. A well preserved puppet except for a foot detached from the base, has wooden sticks and a nice white face. Just like the moon.

Narasoma or Prabu Salya was the driver of Karna’s chariot in the battle against Arjuna in Baratayuda. The driver of Arjuna’s chariot was Kresna.
